March 2014

Here is March of 2014!  I am enjoying making progress on the blog again!

Not sure what was going on here but I like this little expression!

Annie loves to be just like Mommy!  These days she is calling me "the best Mommy in the whole wide world" and there is quite possibly nothing better to hear!  It is the sweetest thing that she wants to be just like me and thinks that all my "chores" are so cool because Mommy does them.  She is a very enthusiastic helper and a quick learner!  I love her concentration while ironing!

Annie is the biggest snuggle bug and has been since the very beginning!  She loves to ride in the carrier on me so that she can be extra close!

And again, she wanted to be just like me so we made her her own baby carrier for Old Baby!
She LOVED it (and still does)!

As she has gotten older, she has become increasingly more interested in arts and crafts and especially painting!  I love this little abstract creation!

Annie and Brad like a song called "Hard work" that is on a Nike commercial or something!  They sing "hard work, work" and "exercise!"  Here is Annie planking!

Annie also loves to be like her Daddy too!
Here she is on a very important conference call with his headset just like Daddy (with her pajamas and paci naturally ;)!

We love to be outside as much as possible!  And living in Ross Bridge provides us great access to walk on the golf course right across the street from our house!  I love my little explorers and this pretty view!

Toddlers are too funny and so much fun!

I always say, "Hey Hollywood" when she's wearing her shades!

I love this one where Annie has graduated to a big girl seat and Old Baby has become the baby of the family!  She always remembers Old Baby and is such a sweet little punkin!

Feeding Old Baby just like I always fed her!

Enjoying the first signs of Spring on a windy afternoon!

She showed a mild interest in potty training so I would oblige whenever she was interested. It wasn't until May that we actually worked on potty training!

She loves this spot on our front porch in her swing and I do too!

Enjoying a gorgeous day at the park with friends!

Olivia (1) and Annie (2 1/2)

Sharing a seat with Aunt Emmie at her first pedicure that she LOVED!
I blogged about it separately last year.

Experimenting with different hair styles!

Working on our selflie skills!

Mom, Emily, Annie, and I enjoyed a fun Spring Break at the beach!
I also blogged about it separately last year.

We took a few photos after church one morning!  Mom made the dress that Annie is wearing for Elizabeth 23 years ago and it is still in perfect condition.  I am so thankful that Mom saved all of her beautiful work!

Annie and Uncle Jeffrey

Not our best but still wanted to document!

In an effort to soak up every minute of the Spring weather, Annie and I often have lunch or dinner (if Daddy's away) or both on the front porch.  She is such a ham in her Krispy Kreme hat and beads!

I love my little family so much and am so thankful to spend my days with them!

February 2014

Here is February 2014 in videos and pictures!

Annie singing "Happy Birthday" to Emmie!

This girl loves to help me at the grocery store and be super silly!
I am thankful for her grocery store enthusiasm because it makes it a lot more fun for me!

She loves Publix because they give away free cookies to children on each visit and she loves Western because they have carts just her size!

Snuggling with Papa! They love to read books in his recliner too!

I captured two of the sweetest prayers that Annie prayed all of her own accord on video!  We have prayed together every night since she was born but usually it is me praying out loud so it was so special to hear her pray by herself and of her own accord!

"Dear God, Pray for Mommy. Thank you for Mommy.  Amen!"

"Dear God, Pray for Daddy and thank you for Daddy. Amen"

Annie is a sushi eating / chopstick pro and its the cutest thing!!

We all enjoyed the Winter Olympics last year and Annie especially liked the ice skating that she called "ballet!"  Annie has always been an excellent talker and communicator, but looking back I can't believe how little she was and how far she has come in her speech.  She is so much shorter, chubbier, and talked in much less complete sentences at 2 1/2 than 3 1/2.

We got a couple of inches of snow and Annie LOVED it!
I blogged about the entire snow event in a separate post last year.

We love Valentine's Day and attempted potato stamp Valentine's for our family.  They did not turn out.

So, instead we used our hands and they did turn out!

Izzy and Alex were so excited about their Valentine!

Mommy and Daddy gave Annie a little Valentine package!
She still called herself "Ninnie Girl" this time last year so we all did too!  I miss it.

We attempted heart shaped pink waffles.

For her friends at school, Annie and I made heart shaped pink rice krispie treats.
We had so much fun making these together!

She was a great little helper!

And wanted to do each part!

Taste testing was her favorite part!

They turned out so cute!

We went to the zoo with Emmie!

Annie and Daddy enjoying their breakfast together one morning!

We spent our warm sunny days at the park whenever we got the chance!

Annie LOVES her baby dolls and she takes such great care of them!
I love that she is such a little mommy and nurturer by nature!

Snuggling is one of our favorite things!!!

She still loves her swing on the front porch!

I love looking back at these sweet days with my little punkin!
She seems so little looking back and like such a big kid now!
