The Many Faces of Annie

About this time last year when Annie was 2 3/4, I had these pictures taken of her by a professional photographer from South Carolina.  I love the style and look of these.  He did a great job of capturing all of her little expressions and so naturally!  He had a simple feather duster type thing on the end of a long pole and he just moved it around in different directions to capture her attention and to get her to change positions / expressions.  So simple and so effective!

I see so much of Brad in Annie's head shape, forehead, and eyes and so much of me in her nose, cheeks, ears, lips, and chin.  And yet, I see so much of Annie now too because she has her own unique and beautiful look that is all her own!

I am so thankful to have these beautiful pictures of Annie and know that we will always love looking back at these!  God sure did design her just perfectly :)

March 2014

Here is March of 2014!  I am enjoying making progress on the blog again!

Not sure what was going on here but I like this little expression!

Annie loves to be just like Mommy!  These days she is calling me "the best Mommy in the whole wide world" and there is quite possibly nothing better to hear!  It is the sweetest thing that she wants to be just like me and thinks that all my "chores" are so cool because Mommy does them.  She is a very enthusiastic helper and a quick learner!  I love her concentration while ironing!

Annie is the biggest snuggle bug and has been since the very beginning!  She loves to ride in the carrier on me so that she can be extra close!

And again, she wanted to be just like me so we made her her own baby carrier for Old Baby!  

She LOVED it (and still does)!

As she has gotten older, she has become increasingly more interested in arts and crafts and especially painting!  I love this little abstract creation!

Annie and Brad like a song called "Hard work" that is on a Nike commercial or something!  They sing "hard work, work" and "exercise!"  Here is Annie planking!

Annie also loves to be like her Daddy too! 

 Here she is on a very important conference call with his headset just like Daddy (with her pajamas and paci naturally ;)!

We love to be outside as much as possible!  And living in Ross Bridge provides us great access to walk on the golf course right across the street from our house!  I love my little explorers and this pretty view!

I love this one where Annie has graduated to a big girl seat and Old Baby has become the baby of the family!  She always remembers Old Baby and is such a sweet little punkin!

She showed a mild interest in potty training so I would oblige whenever she was interested. It wasn't until May that we actually worked on potty training!

We took a few photos after church one morning!  Mom made the dress that Annie is wearing for Elizabeth 23 years ago and it is still in perfect condition.  I am so thankful that Mom saved all of her beautiful work!

In an effort to soak up every minute of the Spring weather, Annie and I often have lunch or dinner (if Daddy's away) or both on the front porch.  She is such a ham in her Krispy Kreme hat and beads! 

I love my little family so much and am so thankful to spend my days with them!
